Jukebox Band on location So back at the end of January we conducted three separate photo shoots, at three different locations, for three new promotional photos for our website and social media pages. Our idea was to be different we wanted photos that where full of character and personality, not your standard boring function band pictures of everyone in suits holding instruments. (Who does that!) Because at Jukebox we are different, we are unique and we are the best!
So we contacted our friend and photographer Sven Eselgroth. Sven is without doubt the coolest guy on planet earth and beyond, so once we pitched our initial ideas to him and he was onboard we knew these photos where going to be awesome!
We wanted to shoot each photo at different locations to show an individuality and personality to each section of the Jukebox family. These being our singers, horn section and rhythm section. So we found three awesome locations Federal Cafe & Bar, Palmyra Bar and an undisclosed location (wink, wink). The venues where amazing and gave us complete freedom to do what we wanted, please check out these venues they're brilliant at what they do.
Sven was a big fan of using props to bring out the character and personality in each photo, so we bought lots of cakes, beers and burgers to use in the photos. (Please note the beer was alcoholic.) The props certainly added a lot of fun to each shot.
We also brought along an equally awesome stylist in Jen Gladman, Jen made sure the band looked super stylish and dapper. I think you'd agree she did a fantastic job!
So a massive, massive THANK YOU to everyone involved in the project from the venues to Sven and Jen and our awesome musicians. We're delighted with the results which you can see in all their glory on the home page of our website and on our social media pages.
